One can see the baby on a sonogram when you are approaching 6 weeks of pregnancy. A sonogram helps to determine and confirm how far along the pregnancy is. On a sonogram one can observe a heartbeat and access more information to help assess the health of the pregnancy.

Monday - Thursdays: 10 am to 4:00 pm. Fridays: 9 am to 12 pm. At this time we do not provide services in the evenings or over weekends. We hope to be able to do so in the near future.

No, all medical services are provided by the Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine (FIRM). This center is in the same building as LifeTalk. Medical services at FIRM are provided by licensed medical personnel.

Funding is so important to keeping LifeTalk up and running. You can either make a donation in person and bring it by our building, you can set up a monthly payment, or you can make a donation in the name of a friend or loved one. There is a Donation Form available online. Please feel free to fill out our secure form to begin donating to LifeTalk.

We are always in need of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer as a counselor, teacher, nurse, or speaker, please fill out our Volunteer Application and Background Check and bring it to LifeTalk. We would love to meet with you and discuss where you see yourself working in our organization.

All our services are free.

Tests and sonograms are not performed at LifeTalk, an appointment must be scheduled for these services. However, we try to accommodate walk-ins. Our trained client advocates listen to your needs and provide guidance and resources as needed.

We have volunteer counselors and staff members available for you to speak with. If there is an issue that LifeTalk personnel feels is better handled by another resource, than we will provide contact information to you.

Pregnancy tests administered using a urine sample provide results within a few minutes. The results may take up to 1 - 2 business days if a blood test is necessary.

Clients meet with counselors through appointments or by simply coming to our location and asking to speak with one of our volunteers. Volunteer counselors and staff members are available to walk clients through the pregnancy test process.

You are more than welcome to call us with any questions that you may have. We are here to help in any way that we can. Appointments are welcome, but feel free to walk in at any time.
